Social Distancing Update

Long time no see (again). Life and work and other pursuits have kept me from this website and blog, and I spent a while feeling bad about that. Now, I think it's okay. I've spent the past year focusing on revisions, building a wonderful little writing community, and pursuing dreams of future work as a literary agent. Sometimes you have to prioritize and accept what falls through the cracks.

Due to the current state of the world, I am holed up in my house with two cats and lots of time to write, bake, and explore this blog once more. I added a new page to the site (Book Lists) and I am working on my first list, which will gather recommendations for LGBT+ novels lacking the 'heartbreaking' narrative. I find more LGBT+ books in the YA section every time I go to the bookstore, which is wonderful, but I spent a long time searching not only for LGBT books, but ones that wouldn't leave me crushed and broken. Stay tuned for that list and hopefully for a couple new blog posts, but for now, here is a regal kitty.
