Update: NaNoWriMo!

It's that time of year again--National Novel Writing Month. After years of hearing about NaNoWriMo, I decided three days into November that I would finally participate in an attempt to add 50,000 words to my 23,000-word work in progress. It quickly became apparent that if I wanted to reach that lofty goal by November 30th, I couldn't waste precious time fretting over forgotten details or pathetic descriptions.
